Nice, I like that. But I can't help you with the reasonable selling price.

Take a quick trip over to Fordbarn and search the early V8 swap meet forum. A nice original car like yours would be well suited for the folks over there. I don't think you have to sign in to search. Good luck and that is a beautiful car.

    Um,.... No

No 32 Ford experts on this sight,... Is it early or late ? 4 cyl or V-8 ? The interior, although nice, kind of kills some value. At first glance and guessing I would say around 20K,... Of course it harder to find a buyer for a stocker.....

See...a real '32 expert would have immediately noticed the V8 hubcaps, the V8 headlight bar, and the Deluxe Cowl lights...but if it's a real V8 car, then why does it have the early 20 louver hood?...inquirin' minds...:D

Oh Larry,.... Your such a show off ! (Not to mention using your benchmark 9,500th. post to tweek me ?.... I feel so..... special !)

Seriously there are so many variables,... If it's the right V-8, If the Rear axle, Firewall,Frame and Dash are all consistent with it being late or early. If it still has mechanical brakes.

Lots of questions, But your kind of between the devil and the deep blue sea here. A purist will ask you all of the above questions (And several more) and knock you down about the interior.... I could be way off but based on what I can see ,.. I am guessing around 20K. A friend of mine sold one very similar last year and was asking 24.5K It finally sold for 18.5K.

Again just an opinion. Might get a better handle on value at "The Ford Barn"

    (I can't wait to get mine !:D)

  15. Nice car. I agree with what has been said with the interior, but does that tank the value? I'm not sure.

It looks like the paint isn't quite the same. Was it added / changed out later?

Sorry you're over. You now need to make it to 10,000. :D

The 25 louvre hood didn't come out until long after the V8. (Late in 32) that's why they're rare. They were only made for a few months. An early car will have no braces in the upper cowl by the windshield corners, an early cowl vent mech and lid, no reinforcement On the frame above the rear axle etc. I would start at $25K. Actually, I'd put a dropped axle, '48 brakes, '50 Merc wheels and wide whites on it and keep it.

Question, and I mean no disrespect....I truly dont know....are the tail lights upside down???

  22. The tail lights are mounted correctly. The small part of the tail light that is the "running light" (or "tail light") points up to illuminate the license plate through the glass lens in the tail light bucket. The real problem is that they are Model A tail lights. The license plate hung below the light on a Model A and was mounted above it on a '32.

Why did you remove it so soon from classifieds? Buyer already?

Don't take this the wrong way, but surely you have come across the 32 disease, it can sometimes end up near the corvette owners syndrome.

I have a couple of 32's myself and love them.

But you did ask about any experts, and experts will always tell you what is wrong with your car before what is right.

And if your looking at selling these guys are really helping you out, as now you know all the questions or comments the tyre kickers will throw at you, or buyers will use to get the price down.

Would love it if you put the pictures back up, I like looking at 32's

    Good luck regardless

  27. Very few things annoy me but when a person makes a post and gets almost thirty responses and then pulls the original post so nothing that is posted makes sense, well that really annoys me. Is it just me?

Hey Charlie...no, it's not you...go back and look at his first post here and you can see he pulled the thread because he sold it...like I said...fishing for a buyer on the main board.
