time out; at least for one or two seconds. i'm not trying to hi-jack this thread, but if any of you buick guys out there have a hood ornament for a '53 special that's complete and you're willin' to part with it would you please PM me? don't reply here. mine's got that front spear broken off. condition isn't as important as completeness.

thanx, and now back to your regularly scheduled drooling...

i can't believe nobody has mentioned that THIS HAS BEEN COVERED BEFORE and you could find all the pics you could want if you would just take a minute to DO A SEARCH!

i love the old buicks as much as anybody, working on getting a '53 special in fact...but there's no need for this thread with the many others covering the subject already in existsence.

here's 3 and it took me 17 seconds to find them :p

  7. Well, I thought about it but seeing how LES has 17 posts he is probably still learning the ropes here. Besides I didn't want to type in CAPS and come off as a prick to him, I figured someone else would fill that role

Buicks? Nope, haven't seen none a them in quite sum time. Who would wanna mess with them junkers anyway??

C'mon Kustom55... You coulda been the one mang!!! You really missed out.

It's always so much fun for some guys to jump right in with ol "Search for it first dumass!" reply.

It's almost like a right-of-passage or something to show that yer an "old salty dog" that is wise in the ways of the forums. LOL

It always makes me laugh when someone has to get highly irritated because a duplicate thread is posted. It's like they take it personally or some shit.

Oh well, back to postin pics of some old, ugly ass Buicks. :)

ah shit...there i go again expecting people to think. just because he's a FNG doesn't mean he can't have a bit of an idea what's going on. if he'd read the forum rules, it clearly states to try the search function first because many things have been covered before. but reading that would require someone to actually give a shit which sadly is very rare anymore. i for one am not very forgiving when it comes to that because it's not a difficult thing. goes right along with getting up 5 min earlier so you're not speeding like a dumb-ass on the way to work, slowing down to let someone in who has their turn signal on, even using your turn signal for that matter, how about holding the door a second longer for someone behind you or things like that?? fuck these people who can't manage to do things like that or to take a minute to read the rules or use the search, i have no sympathy for them and choose not to tolerate it.

This is my father's 1967 Buick Skylark sport coupe. Aquamarine with black vinyl top. 340-4bbl. This is a great machine and I love every second that I am in it. The best reaction is when I pull up to a car show and my dad's Buick friends see me in it!...and he isnt! We restored it together though he is the pro painter, I just help and learn what I can. Look for it in east Pittsburgh, PA.

I have a 52 Buick Special. It's also for sale. Somebody shortened the front clip to the 76 chasis it now sits on.
