Does anyone have any pictures of the car? It ran in the late 40's early 50's but that is the last of the stuff that I know. Here is one from the 1940's period correct thread. Found it out.

So I changed the course of the thread to any build pics of hilborn's streamliner?

I thought that it looked very simular. I have always loved the Hilborn Car but I never knew that it wasn't built by hilborn.

  4. Yep that is the car that became the Stu Hilborn streamliner. Bill Warth built it and sold it to Stu Dec. 7th '41 the day Pearl Harbour was attacked.

I just found the facts on the car, it was built and raced by Bill Warth and his brother was at the lakes with him when this was taken. I am changing the name of the thread to ANY BUILD PICTURES OF THE HILBON STREAMLINER? So...

The only pics of the frame and all I have ever seen were in one of the Rodder's Journals.

    There's a spread with some body-off pics and a bunch of info in Hop-Up 6, 2004-ish...

It was the Rodders journal that had a story about Hilborn injection and all. I think it was a year or so back.

It made the cover of CT News August 1948, I believe the intake was an Eddie Miller item that today is on a T bucket in the MidWest.
