I am a novice at sewing, having only done a few seats and one complete interior. Today I was thinking about working on my COE interior while the weather is cold and I am without compressed air at my rental house.

This started me wondering: Are there any other COE owners that do their own sewing...

  2. I've done one truck interior, using mamas sewing machine. The interior turned out OK, but not great, and I had to buy mama a new machine. (trashed the old one)
If you are going to try it, find an upholstery machine, don't depend on mamas.

I already have a Juki walking foot machine. I'd like to buy a double needle machine to do French seams. I enjoy sewing, but there is a lot to learn. I wish I had pictures to post. My first interior was a track-t and I sewed pin stripping lines into the door panels. I can't wait to tackle the rest of my COE interior.
