Word is he passed last Friday. If so, I’ll miss his crazy humor and respect he has given me.

Heard it verbally but their source was via the net. Just wanna be sure. However, John aka Groucho has not been doing well for sometime now.

I hate to hear this. I never knew him, but I just had to like a guy who went by "Groucho". To add to it all, we just heard on "The Ford Barn" that Dick Davidson (known there as "V8Coopman" and on here as "DDCoopman") has also just passed. Dick and I shared an interest in old Fords and C2 Corvettes. I seem to remember "Groucho" having one as an avatar for a while.

There's been enough bad news on the forums today. I'm going to my shop; I'm afraid I may be next.

Sorry to hear this. I recently tried contacting him about the Hollywood Knights El Camino, and never heard back, I know why now.

Sorry to hear this. Of course I only knew him from the HAMB, but I always liked what he wrote and had to say. RIP

Update, it was John’s heart that gave up. I’ve known he had heart issues for many years. In my opinion that had a lot to do with his financial decisions he made and got lot’s of flack for it. But only he knew best.

Here’s John (left) & I (right) at what I believe was the last time he went to Santa Maria. IMG_2392.jpeg
What’s crazy is my belly in this pic. Since mid July I’ve lost 35 lbs. due to my own health issues.

  22. My condolences to family and friends. Although I've never conversed with or met him, it saddens me that he has passed. He seemed like a solid dude...Mitch

Thanks, Johnny, for putting a face to the name. RIP Groucho.

  25. Sorry Johnny, it's sad that time is the only thing we can't replace.
