Me and my son are building 2 trucks. His 58 chevy and my 36. On the 58 he took off the badges and i made the grill and he sanded everything and it got painted. The badges he just put on today. As for the 36 he gets info on it and helps me get the parts. To be honest sometimes he know more than me even though hes only 14.

My dad and I have done all of the work on my F-1 since I took it from him when I was 15 (21 now). Lots of memories and fun involved. Time for some changes and upgrades to the truck now.

a few years back dad and I did a pair of 68's. He liked ragtops and I liked 427's, we both agreed on red.

It's great to see all these projects. It brings back so many memories of growing up and getting to know my dad. I've learned just about everything regarding cars from him. I'll call and get him to help me at least once a week. He always puts aside his projects for mine. I guess it's his fault I'm into them anyway.

    Thanks Dad.

And good luck to everyone else working on these projects.

  11. Here are some pics of our rolling & painted '27 Ford T chassis. My son Neil built & designed this unique frame. A good friend painted it in single stage black in a backyard garage last week.
Next week we will start on finishing the bodywork which has been roughed in. We have already chopped (3 1/2 inch) & channeled (4 inch) the Tudor sedan body. I will update our progress on the body work.
Still undecided> gloss black or a flat cleared flat black for the body?
:D Let the bondo dust fly! :D

  12. Heres me, my Dad and Brother all working on our A's. This was last Fathers day, and thats all my Dad wanted to do was have his boys and him work on there A's. Mine is the complete one, my brother was throwing the banger in his (he had just bought it and the engine was out of it) and my Dads roadster is behind it. That was one of the most fun days of my life! I'm 26 and my Brother is 21, my Dad is 51, but we get along like little kids :D
My Brother's car is almost on the road!!! Looks like the pics, only with hood and grill :D

  15. Thanks for the compliment Lance! Looking back, i really should have titled the thread:

    Any Father/Son/Daughter Projects out there?

Surfed your cool website! Here is a pic that i took of my son's '35 Ford pickup at a location just down the road from where i live. It has been used in a couple of national magazines.

65 Plymouth Satellite (2 of them)
    66 Dodge A100 (440)
    68 Dodge Coronet
    70 Chevy Chevelle

    Past cars...
    36 Plymouth Coupe

Even tore apart an 85 IROC and put a 406 in it...

  17. Me and my ol man were turning a shell into a 50s period custom. 41 ford business coupe. He sold it behind my back when i was working a double shift.
Found where the cars located but the owner doesnt want to sell back.

My old man passed a way few years ago, before we could start another project together.

Since then ive been building my own stuff with him. But now hes looking down at my progress....

my dad and i are working on our '54 ford together. Although I'm now at wyotech and moving to VA in 2 weeks, and he lives in NY. The car goes back and forth between us and we each do some work on it when we have it. plus he helps with advice (and funding of course!) I'm currently doing a 302 and t-5 swap in it (see my post from last week for pics)
