Great thread. Thanks for snapping all the pics. I'm digging the Nailhead in that green bobber truck on the previous page.
I was born in the Bay Area, lived in Whitter, Modesto, San Jose all were very nice. I also lived in Maryland, North Carolina, Wisconsin and now southern Ohio. All places are what you make them. Ohio is quite the Hotrod mecca too. Plenty to do most months. I used to drive my hotrod to work every day in NorCal. Got lots of looks, thumbs up, down, the middle finger sometimes. It's all in your mind, state-of-mind, dudes!
Thank you autodave. Right on raprap, I lived in the bay for a while, berkley and san jose. thats cool i hear ohio is a pretty cool place to live. thanks for checking out my thread. Here is a quick progress pic from a buddy of my 1941 chevy coupe.

Hey Rawkie, Thanks for the great pics and the deluxe speed shop 32 in post #151 is Scott McCain from Denver. Would love to take that 39-40 merc off your hands. Ha Ha Ha Thanks again for the sweet pics!!!!!! Jason
Interesting that the cops took time to look over the rat rod, wonder how far he made it from the show parking area before the cops pulled them over for a closer look??
ha ha ha the cops were pretty cool, this picture is from Santa Maria Cruising Nationals, drove all the way from the inland empire a good 4-5 hrs no problems. We used to give him **** about bein labled a rat rod, so he made the jump to turn her into a more traditional styled Model A. I will post more prgress pics of it, Post #105 shows few pics of me doing some panel repairs. Gonna be a bad *** ride for sure. Thanks for checking out my thread ~Rawkie http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=666452&page=3 (progress pics)

Rawkie, You, my man, have the right stuff when do***enting all of the traditional rod scenes. The photos, back drops and the videos are spot on. It takes me way back. Wish I was back in the Golden State! I'm always in that state of mind! Rap
