Want to see about getting a new Model A rear main leaf made or eyes reversed. av8 gave me a good one, but it was up North. Thanks Jim

Atlas Spring Co in Bellflower, they quoted me around $400 for a custom set if I recall correctly.

OH! Thanks for the info. Hollywood Spring quoted me $50 to reverse the eyes and that will be hard to beat. Thanks Jim

 

There is also Long Beach spring & forge in Long Beach. It may be closer for you than Hollywood, but the last time I checked their prices were higher than balls on a giraffe.

 

Hey Jim. I live by you, and work in Hollywood...I'm just sayin!!! I can probably get your stuff to and from the shop if you don't want to make the trip.

 

I took my '36 rear main leaf to Atlas Spring in La Puente to be re-arched. It turned out to be cracked. The guy says he can make a new one with reversed eyes with whatever arch I want. $55. When it was time to do the front, I didn't dick around, went right there. Now I have brand new main leafs under both ends of the car. Somehow, I feel bright. Wayno
