I seem to have moved to a hot rod barren wasteland.....talked to a couple folks and clubs tellin' em what I was into and I was labeled a "radical"!

as it seems to be mostly people content to lift the car cover on there restored mid fifties and up "whatever" to make sure its still polished and then go back to sleep...I'm sure that is okay for them ..but,
I'm into 32-40 fords, fenderless, flatheads,etc.,etc.,thought nothing of jumping into my roadster and go with a bunch of guys to any which way the comp*** pointed. Couple folks thought I was crazy and would never think of driving there precious car more than 15 miles!!

So is there anybody around? I mean what a let down...
    H.A.M.B. friendly people wanted
P.S. Had to sell my last roadster..was getting back into this, yet again, but maybe there really is nothin' going on and I am really radical or crazy:cool:
I said hot rod not street rod

My Dad lives nearby in Haveloc. I spotted a weekend cruise at the Food Lion parking lot on 70 between him and New Bern while visiting. Just can't recall whether is was Friday or Saturday.

I'm spotted 50's and 60's cars cruising when I visit. Nothing of a flattie open wheel type, but they are around. Hang in there, you'll catch em.

    WELCOME ABOARD !

I know this is older but, that cruise by the food lion on 70 is a first saturday of the month thing. Sometimes some cool stuff pops out.

Rich, theres always something going on in my garage, either car related, grilling, or drinking some brews. I only have 60's stuff, but hey its better then the gold chainers that said that my truck wouldnt make it down to the gas station and back.
