I used to be in Abu Dhabi 99-06.
Did see a Custom Merc 49-50, Ford shoebox and a cuple F-100 and Chevy 49-55 pickups that was ok.

Last summer I was in Dubai and the cars that was "hot" was old Hondas  to trickt out Bentlys .

The hotel that I lived in Abu Dhabi had a problem with guests that forgot  cars in the parkin lot, Maseratis, BMWs, Porsches and Hummers!

A rockabilly kid who moved to Dubai? Kind of reminds me of Tokyo Drift, but way cooler. :D

The guy that bought Lowla crashed his helicopter and died. They figure the Buick is now a planter box somewhere over there now.:)

  9. Probably make a trip down to Morrisburg between June and September. I start school in September and before that will be spending my time between Saskatchewan and Ontario.

  10. Sent you a PM about something else today!

  11. You don't know the half of it. I walk into a mall and everyone stops what they are doing and look over going what the hell is this guy doing here dressed like that. Everyone wears designer stuff and I wear work boots, cuffed jeans, greased up hair, and hot rod t-shirts. I totally don't fit into this lifestyle over hear. Can't wait to be in Nor Cal.

  12. Hmm to bad I couldn't find it. I have a total **** third generation Camaro. It was the oldest American car I could find. I am currently swapping in a carbed 350. Totally off topic but I needed something to do in this hell hole. I will be looking for a '49 - '54 Chevy or Model A coupe or something else bad *** when I get to Nor Cal.

  15. I know it is boring as hell man. That's why I asked if there was any HAMBers here because maybe we could have shot the **** about different projects we have back home. I know one guy here building a '54 Bel Airon air bags and what not. I also knew a guy who didn't have anything here but had a '46 Chevy back home and we would just shoot the **** about that and my old projects and what not. Not a lot of ho rodders around though.

  16. You are pretty lucky man. Been here 7 years and will be returning in June. Can't wait already thinking of my next project I will get back home.
