SO i've come to realize there is NO rodding scene here in SD, maybe i'm wrong. If you live in SD post here to prove me wrong.
Do a members search Tman on here is from SD as are several others.Not sure if you can search by state or if you would just need to read through it
There are quite a few folks on here now from SD. Locally all you may see are streetroddertypes going for Ice cream at Culvers. But those that get it are here. And BTW, the "scene" is what you make it.
I know of a black 41 chevy that resides in Piedmont when it isnt getting the wheels driven off it. The owners are cool too
Ok ok. first off, by SD i meant south dakota not san diego ya know i've lived in piedmont my whole life and have never seen that 41 chevy, there is a fully restored 3 window deuce floating around town, but its only a sunday driver, and i think its got a mustang II front end under it, so i never really cared. But i'm actually surprised to see 2 members from this state, not gonna lie. oh and there will be a 41 ford cruisin piedmont this time next year, just bought it, now to get it running.....hmmm TMan, what do you drive? wonder if i've seen ya around.

im from sioux falls, there is a saturday night cruise in, at zkota on minnesota avenue in the summer, sometimes theres a hotrod or two there, mainly muscle car guys and their shiny mopars, but every now and then u get a deuce or fleetline.
Piedmont to Soo Foo would be more than a weekend cruise And, whats wrong with a car having paint and shining ?

Piedmont, VanPelt has a 46 Ford coupe, a T Modified that was on the cover of R&C recently, his dad has a 40 sedan. CrazyD has an orange A sedan,a killer shovel chop and an A roadster going together..skips sedan,if you havent seen that in the last 12 years yer blind ...........thats just the first 4 guys in your neighborhood I could rattle off. I drive a green 54 Chevey and a blue 27 touring that I just sold. Tom, you got my numbers, beers on me. Chad, it was NICE here today.

There is anouther dude that hangs around Brookings SD with a old 34 that I have seen.....Kind of a junker...It has old paint!
weather sucks here today too been raining all day 40ish ,,might snow ..but, mid 60's next week ! I'm waxing my stuff right now !
Thshirt weather in the hills today, pulling the A into the shop and yanking the flatty.............or just drinking beer and bench racing, after getting the A in the shop. In fact, the A PU (Apu)! needs to come in outta the weather as well.
I live in sioux Falls, SD. I just bought a 29 a tudor body a month ago. Hopefully in a couple of years it will be terrorizing the streets of sioux falls.
I here there's a few rods running around Sioux Falls. I get out of the shop long enough to see my wife a few times a week. I don't get out much to see cars. I have a few projects and drive a 1940 chevy. Jeff
Theres quite a few rods running around Rapid and i know blackhawk and piedmont have some cars too. I drove my International up until a month or so ago.
