    Hi guys -

I bought a COE in southern CA and looking for a transporter to bring to Colorado Springs. I have used a hauler from the HAMB before, Bill's Autoworks (great service), but Bill does not have the capability of hauling a COE. Can any of you recommend a hauler on the HAMB who can haul a COE?

(1950 chevy cab, big block chevy, auto trans, no bed (open frame behind cab), 24' long in total. Rear duals cam be removed to make it narrower. Moves under its own power.)

    thanks -

Not from Hamb but I used Uship and had no takers until I offered another $200 for a total of $1100. From Tennessee to So cal. Mine also required a winch to load. The issue most trucker had was the height. Nothing could be stacked over it.

I had mine shipped a few years back in a semi that just hauled custom cars. It fit inside the truck with about 4" to 6" on each side so we had to squeeze out of the door. Lots of room on top to haul my 41 pickup. Weight was not an issue. My COE is only about 21" long. More important than that is the wheelbase. They load using a lift gate. So with the front end pulled up very close to the semi-truck, the back wheels need to be on the lift. Mine barely fit with only 4" to spare. Backing it out onto the lift gate was tricky and I worried about driving off the gate..! Any more wheelbase and it would not have been possible. I wish I remembered the name of the transport company...I do know it is a guy from Kansas City DSCN1000.JPG
