It's sitting on a Chevy frame, but it isn't the frame it belongs on.

Yup, it's a big ugly incomplete 4 door one...
Pass and grab the truck over by the canoe instead!
Those 3 hash marks on the windshield post should nail it down but I'm suffering from CRS. Irskine maybe.

 

I'm thinking Essex.

 

By the shape of the cowl and headlight,I'd say it was a Buick.

 

Looks like '26-'28 Essex;looks to be an interesting project. I wouldn't worry about frames; mine sits on half a Model A and half an Essex frame.

Whatever it is, it doesn't look like it would be too hard to turn it into a decent little tub.

 

Here's a 26 Hupmobile, some similarity but not the one...

It belongs to a friend, and I think he's planning some kind of rod with it.

I'm pretty sure he only has the doors that were on it.
