oh yeah and pay no nevermind to the set of billet march pulleys still in the box in the back ground.....someone must of broke in and left those behind....they are not ours:D

  4. Looks like a REO or some sort of big truck grille, 30s-40's, but that's a wild guess too. Pic is deceptive, it doesn't really go all the way to the floor, but it's about the same height as the trash can isn't it?

It may be a early 30's big Chrysler. I saw a similiar one on photos of a early 30's Imperial a couple of months ago. I think it was a 32-34.

  10. well this is the best i could do... he made me laugh boogers came out of my nose so i had to use this little fella. I checked google though all the images i found on 30s chryslers did not resemble this grill.

  11. The 'fillips' on the sides made me think Buick.
It's for sure the vertical bars are not original to this grille shell, neither is the diamond shape on the upper center.

But it'll be cool, and it'll be one-of-a-kind.

  12. Okay, now we're getting somewhere I think. I was thinking big honking truck too, but when you take away the bars and diamond shape, you're left with a shell with (trademark?) "Packard" shoulders. Earlier, kennedy, mentioned Packard Darrin, but I couldn't see it (past the bars). I think its more late 20's very early 30's Packard. You might check some pix of those. (Sorry, don't have any.)

Looks like it started life on a Buick from around 1929. If that oval filler hole is stock and not modified that should help ID what it is.

Its probably a 1939 Siddley Frumpwood Saloon Car.
However, it could be a 31 Hannibal 8.
But most likely its a 33 Marmon Fagwell De-Luxe.
Whatever it is ,it's ugly, do not use it. People will ridicule you
    and laugh behind your back.
    Crush it now.

    It looks French.
