any ideas on shifter

    heres the question i have a hurst shifter setup i like the tall swan shifter look. anyone know anything about being able to switch out to the tall post? any thoughts would be great.

    You talking about changing the lever ? They attach with two bolts at the base. There are serations on the face of the lever and the bit they link to. You can make new ones real easy, just get the bolt holes and serations right.
    There were several verions available as options from memory.

    I have an old like me Hurst shifter, that does not use a bolt on handle. I cut the handle off and welded a 5/8" cold rolled steel rod on and bent it to suit me.

    I think Lokar or Gennie Shifter makes traditional styled replacement levers for Hurst shifters. I know somebody does because I saw an ad just a few weeks ago in one of my magazines.
