I have some after pictures too, predates Lowrider magazine. Has an Elvis theme. Any pics, scans, leads to magazines, whatever, this is the only one I have of it as a complete car.

I have the same images from the June 1982 issue of Chrome and Flames (I think its the first issue).
And since most of the content was copied from American magazines I should think these must have come from and US magazine feature on that car.
The car is listed as being owned by Joe and Connie Moreno from Anaheim... could that be the same Joe Moreno that still owns some very nicely done customs?

Lowrider started up in 1976. They may have images of it in their archive. Not sure if they have it accessible online.

First issue was January 1977. I have all the issues from then until now with the exception of the second and fourth issue and don't recall ever seeing it. I thought it was before LRM, but it looks like I was wrong

The original photo spread is almost surely from one of the "Hot Rod Show World" programs that you used to be able to buy at ISCA shows. I recognize the car, and I'm 99% sure that's where I saw it. My collection of those books today is, unfortunately, pretty spotty. You might check with ISCA and see what their archives have.

I know exactly where that car is....its next to mine in a custom shop. PM me and I will ask the owner if it is ok to let you know, once we know who you are.
