From what I can tell and been told, it's based on a Kaiser 4door. Not mine, but I'm curious if it's had any coverage back in the day. Some stuff is pretty amateurish like the bent tube top frame and latches, taillights, and cut down bumper, but someone put a lot of work in making it look like this...

Don't know, but the metalwork looks like it was well done by someone with skills.

I think he means the rusty tool box latches on the back of the top frame.

It's not a Kaiser, but close. I think it is a Frazier.

Please post up the info if it's for sale and if you arn't going to get it!

  17. Does look like early (47-50) Kaiser, leading edge of hood, cowl, some of the dash anyways. Maybe on another chassis? Those only came as a 4-door sedan with kind of slab sides. Would have a Continental engine if it's still original.

Kaiser and Frazer are the same thing with different badges and trim.

That thing is cool beyond description. If it's for sale, and you can beg, borrow, steal, or raid your kids college fun, buy it.

  19. Anyone that can make a Kaiser or Frazier (same) look sporty is quite an artist. I like it. Glad it's far away because I would find it if it were close.

Your right! I always think of the '51 bodystyle for Kaiser and the early ones as Fraziers, but they did share the same body '46-50.

    You IDIOTS!
THAT right there is the much discussed and maligned Henway! Yes, the actual Henway CAR!!

If you leave it there at least weigh it.............PLEASE!

Whatever it is, its very very cool. I do hope it is on its way home with you, from the windscreen forward I LOVE, the rest is workable.

    Doc.

OH MAN that is so cool.I see you are in Denver. What yard is it in and is it for sale? Rip that top and windshield frame off ,put on a deval windshield frame and a new carson top, clean up the body lines, redo everything bla bla bla and then you would have a cool custom. If you don't want it, let anouther HAMB member get it before it gets scrapped. These yards tend to see high scrap prices and everything goes.

Cool! It looks like it was someone’s pride & joy at one time. Could you tell what the engine is/was?
