There will be a three day James Dean Fest, a Hollywood-sponsored event to mark the 50th anniversary of the young actor's death. June 3-5 in Marion/Fairmount Indiana. Supposed to be a bunch of stuff happening including car/bike shows from what the paper said. Here are some newspaper articles if anyone is interested. http://www.chronicle-tribune.com/ap...0210/NEWS01/502100306&SearchID=73198771966353 http://www.chronicle-tribune.com/ap...0209/NEWS01/502090334&SearchID=73198772067623 http://www.chronicle-tribune.com/ap...0209/NEWS01/502090333&SearchID=73198772107566 http://www.chronicle-tribune.com/ap...0209/NEWS01/502090332&SearchID=73198772107566 http://www.chronicle-tribune.com/ap...9/OPINION01/502090306&SearchID=73198772107566 http://www.chronicle-tribune.com/ap...0208/NEWS01/502080305&SearchID=73198772107566 http://www.chronicle-tribune.com/ap...0208/NEWS01/502080304&SearchID=73198772204180 http://www.chronicle-tribune.com/ap...0207/NEWS01/502070307&SearchID=73198772257742 I was talking with a lady at work last that has lived in Faimount her whole life. She knows Dean's family and has known Marcus Winslow(Dean's cousin that controlls the name and rights)her whole life. I told her the stories I have read about the remains of the crashed car being parted out and people getting killed with parts from the car in thier cars and so on. She says Marcus Winslow has the remains of the car stored somewhere. She said it was in Fairmount but she is not sure if it still in Fairmount, but he still has it.
I keep looking for a 550 spyder to buy nothing like the looks of them. I will just have to avoid everyone in a shoebox
