I patched the holes in my floor and mounted my battery

  5. Did a couple hours of wiring in the garage, and a couple hours cleaning yesterday. Went to the airport and put motor mounts in the Ercoupe today (since when are Lord mounts an improvement over the old C85 Continental type?).

    Didn't build a damn thing.

Still destroying (taking apart) the '64 ElCamino. Couple more things then it's time to start reassembly. Biggest problem is deciding how far to take apart, this was just going to be a quick fixer upper to have a driver for next summer, but you know how it goes.
Should start bolting parts back on this week sometime.

I finally got the garage warm enough to spray some primer! If my luck holds out I'll be giving my coupe a checkered future next weekend... Well at least it's firewall. I'll be posting photos as I go along with some twists with the how-to, so all you guys that were asking for help stay tuned.

Collecting parts for thetudor sedan that I just picked up.

Working on the 28 ford truck for truckedupmodela on here. I will have to post pics soon of all projects.

I feel like I have a second job Ive been at the shop so much lately

  10. Filled the wood burner up, got the garage up to 85 degrees and sanded, and sanded, and then sprayed some primer....next day I finsihed sanding and got to the fuckit stage, and broke out the Laquer and got ready to paint. Then I thought about it.............got a shovel and took all the burning hot coles out of the wood burner and took them into the house and put them in the fireplace (wouldnt want to waste free heat). Then I mixed the paint and spayed the doors and grill shell on the 32....Looks pretty good, will mount them this week to see if the color is close enough......Went to a drag racing swap meet today in the mourning.....first swap meed since the 80's that I did not buy anything.....wtf........must be ebay, or my tight ass!

  11. Slingin' a little mud and stripping paint on this over the weekend.

Finished my firewall and floor at last..,fixed some rusted areas on the cowl, final welded the body and engine mounts with the tig, hooked up and tested my homemade clutch linkage/bellcrank assembly, fit the dash I made, yanked the engine back out to fix a shifter issue, started the wiring process. Everytime I think i'm getting closer i find 50 more things, but I think i'm getting closer.

I insulated the floors on my 54 to get it ready for interior. Used a sort of dynomat, thick metal foil with sticky black tar backing. Got it from the front kick boards all the way back to my rear seat area. Soon I will have pics of my carpet and seats done, then on to the door panels.

I've been giving the 56 caddy coop some attention, the engine and tranny mounts are done so I can bolt in a 500 caddy motor and the matching TH400.
Finished off the tranny mount then pulled a complete 500 and TH400 out of storage that I'm going to use in the 56.Primed the oil pump and engine with the drill,it made good oil pressure, spun the motor over and it made good compression .So it'll be getting a rattle can rebuild:D and bolted into the 56

Rounded up some varnish and other supplies to stain my new bed wood. Aired up the left front tire. Adjusted the idle on the carb, found it leaking gas in 3 places. Pulled it back into the garage. Staged a fire extinguisher close by. Ordered some new gaskets. Shoveled dog crap in the back yard. Ran some stuff to and from the storage shed on the snowmachine. In other words, not much progress!

I got my new engine all together and put into my Camaro. Hopefully by next weekend i can be driving the fucker again. Im about to go out right now and put the new heater core in and put the fender back on. The sooner i get this damn thing done the sooner i can start on my real projects, my Merc and my Chevy.

I got new tires, stripped more paint, torqued down the 3X2, removed all the interior and loosed some things up to start a rewire. Oh and lowered my friends edsel 3" front and back.

Had breakfast with some clowns, (Thanks for the electrical help) cleaned up the shop after my model A induced mental meltdown. Put my coilovers together, assembled my brake pedal setup and got the chassis on a level surface to square it up. Plus I got the old Monte SS running again. Hatch, that coupe's looking so badass I'm pretty sure it's out of my price range now. Andria is going to be really disappointed.
