History Any 'ol timers remember these cars?

Pictures were given to me by one of the civilian employees as a going away gift when I left Ellsworth Air Force Base in 2006. The fellow had taken the pictures in 1965 at Sacramento Raceway. The first model a coupe says Garcia brothers on the door. The second one pictured on the trailer was given away by raffle on Saturday October 2nd 1965. The T has three names on the cowl. Jerry Rego, Bad Bill and Little Bill.

Yeah I would to build a coupe like the one in the first picture.

Great pics--I lie the one on the trailer. Tower looks pretty much the same today

 

Yeah I do like that second one also but I love the crudeness of the first one. The second one does have pie crust slicks on the back.

 

Anybody still in Sacramento or surrounding area that can round up some memories? Is there still a drag strip there?
