Yes, I remember the first one, but the second is blurred. No idea what it is.
I’ll add one of my own, when that association was for strictly pre ‘49 and in fact in the early days they had a Deuce 5W on the decal. I haven’t been to an event of theirs since the change.

I bought an off topic car with an ISCA sticker in the back window. The car was a pile, I got a good laugh out of it....

All the NSRA logo’s are familiar to me, I joined in ‘73, became a “Lifer” in the late 70’s or early ‘80’s. ( it was $50 back then!) Was also a State Rep. for NSRA for four years.

The curvy flag logo seems to be very specific to the late 70s....

The green ISCA sticker, seems to be probably from the same era. They had a different design in earlier years, and different colors in later years. The car I had with a green ISCA sticker was built in the late 70s, and probably shown around then.

    hope this helps

NSRA had a "street machine" division back then.......in the 70's....

yeah, that's the old logo...the redesign seems to have a generic futuristic car (for the 70s)

Squirrel , Thanks for all the information, Appears my car was built mid to late 70s. I purchased it off a rock pile near Winona MN about 25 years ago. Now I have an era to hunt for more information.

  19. Post a picture of the car. Maybe someone knows some of it's history.
I was at the '77 and '79 NSRA Nats at St. Paul and might have a picture of it. There are also some Youtube videos out there of those Nats.

Thanks, any history would be appreciated, It has always been yellow, it had fad Fenders, hood, black top, spoked front wheels with no brakes, now I am just running the body as an open tub. I have most of the removed parts stored.

  22. So it was a tub and not a bucket with pickup bed or turtle deck?

1976, Pleasanton, CA. A guy was talking to my partner and me (we had the shop in Campbell, CA. then) about his sanctioning body then, NSRA. His view was that the hosts (NSRA) could make mucho $$ if they were to 'open up' to the later years' cars, such as the Tri-Fives and later, namely what are now called 'Muscle Cars'. The NSRA sticker was prominent on most cars then.
Partner Gary and I sought to open his eyes, and maintain the '48 and earlier rule.
The guy wouldn't have any of it, and next thing we knew there was a group of...'Good Guys'. In white cowboy hats, yet.
We had been talking to none other than the chief 'good guy', Gary Meadors. Hah!
    Look what happened...
