Any one want to comment on the composition of this truck?

if it isn't real it needs to be! i'd have to agree that it would look better with a fleetside.

 

I can confirm that that is a photoshop. I've seen the original photos before, just can't remember where. I do know it's shopped though.

looks like a 66 tilt cab which had a engine doghouse, and a set of 63 pickup fenders on the bottom of the cab

I think it's pretty neat looking. Would be cool if someone built a rampside like this...in the same spirit as the Rampside corvair rear engine van.

I thought the idea would be cool on a panel-turning it into a 60-66 version of a full size chevyvan, and did a few "photo chops"

At first I kinda liked it with the shorter fleetside bed, but I agree, the proportions of the door are off, and it would be un-driveable.

Almost looks like a home made version of a Ford Econoline pickup or Corvair Greenbriar. The military always had strange versions of commercial trucks usually on flight lines that were purpose built to service aircraft.

 

bed looks to be a long stepside bed 55-66 chevy, I have a couple of em that are 58s-59

 

I like it a lot, and the black one jonzcustomshop posted just rocks!

Section in 4" in the body and bed, and it just might buy you enough room for wheels and feet.

Well since this thread sucked and was a bust , I came up with a simple question, Who is this guy , Is he a car guy ?

 

Why would there be less leg room than in a regular van? Looks about the same situation as my Econoline.

 

Definetely not a 66 I can already tell because of the doors. I'm sure it was photoshopped and can tell it was a stepside 63-65 C-10.

 

I love this custom.

Reminds me of what a life sized 60's Tonka truck I used to have.
