I've been helping Fleetmaster build his '47 chevy coupe for the past three and a half years. We started it for the first time last Saturday night. It has a 496 big block, overdrive trans and a 4:11 posi geared ford 9". It should be the fastest car in his high school parking lot. It has been built with alot of support from the HAMB and has a fairly interesting story. Apparently I don't have a decent picture of it online. Here's the most recent update I posted with links to some of the original posts on the subject. I'm waiting to post an update until I have some decent pictures and we get the video of it starting uploaded to youtube. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=149977

I looked at your project journal at hotrodders.com and I like it very much. Nice work. Real killer stance on that Aero. Keep up the good work. Per
I have a pea-green and chocolate brown (or you use your favorite scatological adjectives) coupe. 74K mile barn car, burned a rod last summer, gonna go 12 volts, 250 six, a 2004r, and a57 chevy or pontiac rear end and some dadgum A/C for a change.
Mine's a 47 coupe with a 46 grille. It has a 327 and Nova subframe and rear. I built it 20 years ago.
I'm savin' up parts to build my '46 in the lowrider "bomb" style. So if any of you guys are doing customs and are shaving off any of the extra chrome doo-dad shit, shoot me a PM and let me know.
Sweet car love the color and wheels nice package, im going to keep with an older theme on my car not sure of color yet have it narrowed down to a few colors but wheels will be the american salt flats with spinners 4" front 15" wide rears love to see others builds and photos ecs ones this sweet good luck
Wos this car will make a killer sweet lowrider, I thought i could get away with coliovers and moroso trick springs on my car but just cant happen look slike air ride is on the way i really like the look of these cars low but again we still have to drive them and this low in ohio where im from just will not work good luck later GP
I am working on a 48 coupe with a 350 sb, 700r4 and 3/3 gears in a 57 rear and also has mustang 2 front end.. Hoping to finish interior this spring Then move on to body work and paint next winter. Having a blast driving it while I am finishing it!
Thanks. I'm hoping to make it look something like this one, but with artillery wheels instead of the wires. I really wanted a '46 fastback but this two door sedan came along when I had money in my pocket so I guess a two door sedan it is.
Coll i really like the look of the aerosedans but yours looks so different and sweet will lok great ecs with a big set of nostagia billets or budnicks even built like a pro touring car good luck
This is my 48 Fleetline. I hope to have some more updated pics soon. I just have to finish a few jobs that I have started and not completed.
Not mine, but I used to see this one around Gardena, CA when I used to work there a few years ago. This is one bomb that was done right!
I am also working on a 48 chevy love the look of these cars but how can we speak of 48 chevys and not remember Mike Tovars body dropped 48 if you have'nt seen that car you dont know what you're missing.
My '46 almost ready for a little lowering & paint. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/album.php?albumid=3541
How in the hell did you get your car up on those home made boxes? I've looked at this photo for awhile...since you posted it last, probably several months ago. I want to do the same thing with mine so I don't have to use the dreaded jackstands.
They are really handy ecs. being the car sits at ride height on the blocks and dosent have the wheels hanging and they are much safer. As for getting it up there it is a little challenging you need a 2 ton jack at least and a few extra blocks to stack on it. but its tricky usually when its on the blocks its up there awhile. righ tno wi need to start blocking the car and finsih a lil bit more of metal fab work under the hood.
