Any Parts From 1998 Astro Van for my 56 Chevy?

    Before I scrap it is there anything from a 1998 Astro van that I could use on my 56 Chevy? Booster, spindles, etc?

    The booster is a nice size and works good. It's what I'm using on my cpe

    I work for GM, and I know Astro's very well.
    Sorry to say, but there is nothing useful.
    Scrap it.

    The roof would be good for an old Hotrod. The serpentine belt system from a 4.3 works on a SBC without much trouble. Save your ignition module, same for many of the 90's SBC's

    See if there is any good gas in the tank, or if the battery is good.

    the sepentine system that trukin55 talked about also works on the bbc with two small adapter plates.i used them on my 67 impala 396

    The steering shaft from the column to the box has 2 nice u-joints, if you're going to do any steering modifications. Bob

  9. Wheels are the same bolt pattern and should be 15x6, IIRC.
     
  10. I would have to second that. I seen an old racing buddy a few years ago take the roof off an astro and put in on his dodge bro looks great..

    Tires, engine, trans, battery, wires, seats, steering, fuel lines, brake hardware,speakers...

    ha ha funny stuff right here. I just bought an astro van today for a parts wagon and some odds and ends for my 50. So if any of you guys need anything let me know.
