Next I built this dragster for Supercomp. I put the reliable 509cid from Barracuda into it. Fast and fun

    burbanite/mogara,

Do either of you guys know Mike Collucci over at Brumos Porsche racing? Mike and I were buddies and team mates back when we were young and racing dirt. Mike had a Ford and we had a Chevy

I could tell you some funny stories about Mike before he became "famous". Bob Snodgrass grew up just up the street from my inlaws in Elmira and went to school with my brother-in-law. Small world.

Here are a couple of shots. It does not help pay the bills.

The picture from Mokan was stolen off the HAMB. I'm not sure who took it or I would certainly give credit. Mr. Marlett maybe?

Does Mike still work there? I met most of those guys at Mont Tremblant a few years ago when we were investigating the possibility of entering the series, very friendly, accommodating group of people.

Yeah, Mike's still there. They are a good group of guys, but unfortunately, there is a bit of a rift between that team and ours. Scott Dixon "helped" one of their cars off the track at Daytona last year while they were running 3rd. Since then, the guys aren't too friendly to us. I think sometimes people forget that the team doesn't have any control over what the driver does while he's in the car.

No Offense meant, but you really race that?

What kind of front suspension is that?

Since o/t cars are allowed, here was my last car that I sold to finance my roadrace '55 chevy.

I did club sprints with this (against the clock around circuits, 20s apart) and 60,000 miles in 2 years. I should have found another way to finance my project :D

Have you heard of bill wilson? he ran a yellow and white #7 modified for 50+ years and i crewed for him and his son for the last couple years until he retired last year. (i believe he was 65 during his last season and he still won a BB modified feature at ocfs in his last season!)

does this count? Not exactly a traditonal rod but it does 80 mph, with your ass an inch above the ground! haha. I usedd to race this all over the east coast (back when i was cool lol) but now im tryin to sell it and get myself a road-course car of some sort.
