Heard of Bill Wilson? He's only one of my FAVORITE drivers!

I've been watching him race since I was ten years old. He had just returned to racing after being burned in a pit fire. That AutoWeld Gremlin was awesome!

There is a car that races in our Vintage club that is done up in Wilson's trademark Yellow and White #7. It's a 1936 Chevy.

Getting it ready right now for first race of the season ,Third Sat ,April.Time flies when your fine tuning.

 

A little differant than most of you guys but heres what I do.............Orange car,co-drive. Yellow/blue single seat I race solo......................

 

Did you get that off of ebay? I have seen it there before

 

the coupe holdds the record at 152&change, ran 154.54 lasr year ,but was unable to back-up new record (hurt motor) thanks for askinf.........aero is a big problem with model A , but .........I like'm!

car runs a straight eight Buick, but best of all it was "garage built" with help of good friends in six months.

Here is my F-1. I ran the high school drags my senior year in high school. Sorry for the quality, it's a scan and it kind of got touched before the ink was dry after it was printed. Edited: Added another one.

 

yea bill's definitely a cool guy and a great driver. I've actually seen that car at some of the shows around the area its awesome. He kept his paint scheme almost exactly the same right up until his retirement. I was so happy to see him finally win in his last season. I dont know if you know them personally but Bill and his son are great guys, very friendly, and very knowledgeable so if you havent met them, go up and say hi at the racetrack, im sure he'd love to meet more fans!

59 Chevy, 355 roller motor, th400 trans with a brake, 5.29 gears Strange 35 spline spool and axles. 10.86 at 121 mph.
