I have an un-opened copy of Genesis"From Genesis to Revelations"..One of 600 made..That I found at a thrift store .
Could any of you guys tell me how many Mr.Gasser and the Weirdos records there are? I have Two and a 3rd on the way, is that it? Also I am missing the 45 that goes in the Surfink cover, so I guess that's 4. Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I collect records but nothing hot rod associated, other than a few early beach boys albums. I have a first print mono pet sounds album that's probably my favorite record I own. Other than that I have everything from sinatra to the chronic Dr Dre album....
Been working on my collection a little lately. Still have about 10 to hang. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I resisted opening this thread for a long time. I have foot lockers full of vinyl LPs down in the basement, plus uncounted record cases of 45s. Collecting anything is a slippery slope, and it’s easy to fall down the rabbit hole. I am temporarily over the record collecting bug...but it’s only a matter of time. @Muttley That drag record you posted from Beeline Dragway in ‘64 is beyond cool. My Dad might be on that record, as he used to drag race at Beeline quite often during that time period.
If anyone has one of these they want to get rid of or comes across one, PLEASE let me know!! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I've got this one for sale in the classifieds right now if anyone is interested: Hurst Takes You To The '64 Nationals
Great art work, I have that album as well. The Ventures made some good music. My dad gave me that album.
YES!!! That album of power is what made me love drag racing. The pictures on the cover and cranking the volume to "11" on dads McIntosh. I have to go digging for the albums.
I just got hit by a memory truck. In the mid '60s I had a friend who hooked his stereo to a guitar amp and would blast "The Big Sounds of the Drags" to his neighborhood. I'd laugh my butt off but I'm also surprised someone didn't pound lumps on his head because he wasn't doing it at noon.
