Technical Any Studebaker/Packard owners?

    Here's one for ya. My '58 Packard has this little pedal on the drivers side. It's not an emergency brake. My best guess is that it was for the washer fluid(?)

    Yup that's a windshield washer pump. AMC cars had them in the 60's.

    My '56 Packard 400. Rebuilt #matching 374 (warmed up a little) adapted a TH400 to it. Still working on it. IMG_5648.jpeg

    Yes, I believe they did. Mine was switched over to a 4 bbl. Carter carburetor by the previous owner (I'm the 3rd owner).
