Any swaps in the Spokane area in June?

Thought I'd come down and snoop around for some stuff. Any going on? Thanks in advance.

 

The Car-D-Lane is on the weekend following Father's day weekend. They have a downtown cruise on Friday night, Car Show and Silver Auction on Saturday in downtown CDL. Also a swap meet over the weekend at the fairgrounds between CDL and Hayden.

 

Car D Lane is ON Father's day weekend and the swap is only on Saturday, according to the car club calendar. It's on the 19th. Won't be going, since I'll be in Grand Coulee that weekend. There's a small swap on the 5th, at a local rod shop, but probably not worth the trip. Our big swap in Spokane is on July 10th, it's the early ford V8 club swap meet at the fairgrounds. Other than that, not much in the way of swaps down here. There is one in Ritzville on Sunday that we're going to run down to.

 

July 10th? hmmmm...That might be the one to hit.

I thought Fathers day was on the weekend of the 11th. Anyway, I'll be in Jackson Wyoming for the E.I.E.I.O. Rod Run the weekend starting the 11th and the Car-D-Lane the following weekend. Be nice if the gas prices would ease off a bit. I'm only getting 12 to 14 MPG in the Chevelle doing 75/80 on the freeway.

 

That's why I take the new truck any big distances. 5 speed auto with 3.95 rear gets me 23 - 27 mpg. Gas is $1.00 a liter right now up here.

 

Lol, These are local runs for me. 100 miles to Jackson and 490 to Couer D' Alene. One way. Over 2 mountain p***es to Jackson and 3 to CDL. Hell the poker run at Jackson last year took about 80 miles. That's why I drive a traditional purple Chevelle & added cruise control and air! Still carry shovel, axe and bucket in the trunk too. Guys in So-Cal or back east won't understand that one...
