Any WWII Jeep enthusiasts? Looking for Go-Devil info...

    They won the Pacific theater - the Liberator & the Jeep won the European theater!:D

    If you might be interested in somthing a little bit more modern, (but can be made to look old.) You might want to look at a suzuki sidekick/vitara 1.6 8v motor, they are setup for rear wheel drive and come in at around 98hp stock, with many upgrade options and a supercharger out there for em too..

    the best thing is that they are Teenie-tiny front to back.

    Good ideas - too modern for my tastes - although I am a fan of the Mazda rotary engines! They sound like angry chainsaws when warmed over...:D

    I really want to keep it flathead & Ford (if possible) - the EnFo stuff is going to be a bit mild for my tastes, I think, but will be the easiest fit. The A/B banger would be very cool, but I'm cutting on the firewall already. The V8-60 would also be high on the list except for the firewall. I need to measure the Go-Devil & see where it falls - not Ford, per se, but they were built under license by Ford!;) :D
