I had a question about a sub I paid for. The email said it would start(or continue) with #9. Never got #9 bought one at a car show. I have emailed staff@ckdeluxemag.com twice(one got kicked back), and gizmo@ckdeluxemag.com once. Have not been able to get a reply. Don't know if you guys are not getting them or what. Just wanted to make sure I was going to start getting them.
I dunno about this deal, either. I went to a CKD link off of the Mooneyes site, and ordered several back issues and a sub. The back issues arrived a few months ago, but no new mags from the sub. If I could find the charge for the order on a credit card bill, I'd complain, but I'm lousy at keepin' up with paperwork. Its a shame, a cool mag like that, dissing subscribers. You'd think they'd like the support!? My $0.02 worth. Kinky6

[/ QUOTE ] The EXACT same thing happened to me, ordered back issues, a shirt, and a subscription...got everything but the subscription. After a coupla months of not getting the mag (and havin' to read posts on the HAMB about articles that I WASN'T getting) I sent them an email asking for status. Gizmo eventually got back with me and apologized for the delay and said that there were some subscription problems; something about how the new subs got entered. Anyway, I got an envelope in the mail within a week with the three issues I missed and I have been getting my regluar sub in the mail ever since. I don't think that these guys are out to rip anybody off, they're just inundated right now...success has it's drawbacks...
listen, these guys are not out to Rip anyone off. Gizmo has been really busy lately and there isnt alot of people that help the mag. he will come thru I will pass on these concerns to him and im sure he will get back to you -Bigdaddy

I really enjoy the work they do. I just did not get an answer to any emails. It is not that big of a deal it is only 20 bux. But I would like to know if I am going to get them or not. If not I will try and find another source to buy them. I only subscribe to three mags TRJ, CKD, and Lead News. I plan to get a sub to R&P(I have every one so far) and the new Custom mag coming out.
Ron, What is Lead News - that's a new one on me. Also, what is the new Custom mag coming out that you mentioned? Thanks, dennis
Dennis This is the new one he said around spring he is from up your way http://www.kustomsillustrated.com/ Lead News is a Swedish magazine. It is put by CKOS I guess it not really a sub it is a membership. Join and get the mags. The only down side is it is in Swedish but, it has more true American custom stuff than the ones put out here. Well I also have a subscription and have failed to see any issues since #8. I have tried emails but no luck. I just buy them from local car shows..guess I've given up hope on recieving the ones I've already paid for. If someones trying to fix this problem tell them about me also.
