Features Anybody have a 1960 Pontiac? Pics?

Canadian Pontiacs were equipped with fairly narrow Chevy rear ends, opposed to the American "wide-track". i used to roll with 215/70/R14's on factory 6" steel rims all the way around, but i just got a pair of 7" rims powdercoated gloss white (that my brother gave to me years ago) and went with 225/70/R14's on the back. They fill up the wheel wells a bit more, and i am happy with the slightly taller, slightly wider appearance!

 

I had a neighbor when I lived in near Baltimore (2006) that had a '60 Bonneville that was a mild custom. Wish I had pics of it. His name is Herb Houston.

 

These are some updated shots of my pontiac. Trent Sherill came out and shot it at Wollongong in Australia after I had the roof laced.

The bottom pic is the latest. Added some pleats in the wheel wells and fitted 1960 buick headlight bezels

Are the Canadian Pontiacs front steer? What I mean is the steering linkage in front of the front wheels or behind them... Chevy was the only car offering front steering linkage. It was better then rear steer, it had a better overall feel. But the Pontiac had a better frame and rear end. The rear end on those cars were sought after by drag racers.
