Here is a before and after shot. Have plans to do more but this is where we are at for now. Bought the truck for the wife and she had been working on it just as much as i have. New brakes, shocks, carb work, and spray painted in the driveway with paint from Wal Mart.

    Thanks

The orange one I saw in Syracuse yesterday.

The yellow one belongs to a local guy, the frame was shortened 6 inches and rear fender widened 2 inches. You can see how short it is from the cab to the fender.

Subframed with dropped coils, blocks in the rear with parrallel leafs and coilovers.

I've had 2 nailheads and a dynaflow in there with no effort. Or just look at all the bodies in there from a month ago!:D

As you can see. Not too many custom looking ones here.
I like the custom truck look. Here's mine I built 13 years ago.

Hey Truckrodder, good luck with chosing a direction for your '50. Here's a few shameless photos (in better light than Paso) from a few angles.

Hubcaps are Oldsmobile - almost identical to '47-'52 Caddy sombreros.

  26. Here's mine the cosmetic was done by a guy in Kansas, he was a good body man but not much of a mechanic. I've been going through all the drive train and suspension to make it road worthy, over the last couple of months. Getting closer all the time.

HAH, I FIGURED yours was bagged, GRSMNKY. I'm going to use mine to haul motorcycles around, so that stance could come in handy when it's time to load em.

Grumpy, you got a lot of people in there, but it looks like the rear end is holding up. You should invest in some lawn chairs for the next car show, much more comfortable for your large family :D

Nice work all around. That extra grill bar makes a lot of difference if you're running without a front bumper. It completes the look.
