NOT Z has there been any progress on the Merc that left the Drag 'N Shop? It was all bare metal when it left a few months ago. If so lets see some pics.

 

yup we primered it black the owner is draggen his feet on payments
so its in limbo but joe just chopped a diff one ill snap some shot of that one

Isn't that the one that Larry Kramer from Cincinnati built back in the late 80's out of a 49 Buick? I remember seeing it in his shop under construction back then.

No.Larrys car ended up high tech with some square modern headlights.This car was built by George Dorr from Cincinatti Ohio.He also had p[reviously built a chopped rootbeer 48 Chevy coupe that was not sectioned.I know no one will ever see this but his son is pinstriper,Doug Dorr.

 

Is the black '40 DeSoto on post 228 now wearing deep maroon paint? If so, I believe there is a current photo of it in the Drip Pan section of Hop Up this month. A lot of inspirational stuff in this thread. Thanks.

I havent forgottn Frenz. Just that the customer is draggn his feet on payments and we havent done a thing to it. We are doing another one for a high end guy. morrison chassie, Strange rearend 6 piston willwood breaks prolly not very intresting to most of you guys. But....... I just got a sweet 50 merc in today almost a shame to cut it up...............naaaa fuck it break out the sazall Joe, Ill take some shots of Joe cuttn on it.

Rick, are you sure the magenta version of this car isn't before the maroon? the magenta version doesn't have fadeaways.
