I sent in an order for some patch panels a month and a half ago and haven't heard anything....tried calling them and it seems like the lines been disconnected. I know they might of been hit by the hurricane but has anybody heard anything from them?

My buddy ordered some patch panels thru the mail 2 months ago and sent payment. No word yet. He did reach them by phone. "Lost his order", "no problem, we will make them and send them right away" ,etc. Still no parts yet.

From past posts & now this one, I must be the only guy out there who has had good luck with these people. I ordered patch panels in the Spring & had them @ my door the same week! Crazy! Sorry to hear you guys are having trouble.

Wouldn't ya know it as soon as I put the post up the door bell rang....atleast they came, would help if the panels fit worth a dang :(. The rear center panel for my 27 T tudor was off pretty bad. Guess I'll just make my own panels from now on....

At the PATE swap meet that had a lot of inventory and the patches I bought for the T roadster fit good. I had thought about getting a declid from them but now this post and all the other post, I might just wait till the next swap meet to buy from them (if there) or order from someone else.

I was told it is better to order stuff thru a Store who has links to Howell's.
Well I ordered my stuff last september, it took for ever to reach the store, finally I got it in Novemeber and I stored in my shop until late december, opened it and it was all for the wrong model.
I contacted the store and they have been trying to get the stuff swapped over for me and then the storm damage and still nothing.
I am sure they will come good but boy what a wait, I missed all summer and got nothing done.

It took them over a year to send me a piece for a Model A Coupe, but they followed through...... I find, when I buy from them on eBay, those items show up right away.

That's always been a pet peeve of mine. You or your buddies mail order a part from a company and the proprietor hasn't been able to fill the order for many months.....then you find out they're selling dozens of the same parts at a car swap meet for cash on the spot. Very shady business ethics.

I ordered twice from them. 34' pickup cowl patches and lower rear patches 3 weeks. Next time 34' pickup doorskins 1 week. I guess I got lucky. Both were through E-bay and in the E-bay ad it shows the quantity in stock.
