Anybody id these rear fenders guy claimed they were 40 Chevy but I don't think they are. I do think they are GM but no tail light holes or where tail lights would mount and no gas neck hole. I kinda thought they could be something odd like panel truck or sedan delivery something like that. Too narrow to be pickup fenders. They do have a square hole for carriage bolt and a brace or stiffening bracket behind wheel. Look to be NOS. Only markings I see is L 249 on black one and 40 P. on inside of green one I'm ***uming P means p***enger side in this case. Any help appreciated thanks.
They can be use on small panels ( car size frames) and cut the hole for the gas filler and bigger panel delivery's 3/4 and one ton ch***is as is
Panel delivery parts are hard to find, I found a pair of rear fenders miss list on Ebay years ago for mine one of the tell sign is the extra "ear" on the lower front edge where it bolts to the frame and running boards and how it tapers in the rear. later kb
