Anybody know hotdamn? (aka Delton Russel)

I agreed to buy a '54 Chevy bumper from him, paid via PayPal at least a week ago, and haven't heard from him since other than an email asking me to call him at a phone number that doesn't work.

I know this sounds bad, but rather than jump to conclusions I am guessing that (like me) life happens and there's some reason why he can't email me. I myself disappeared for a few days in the middle of our emailing because of a sick kid so I get it.

I do not want advice or speculation from fellow HAMBers. I am willing to wait at least another week or two before I actually start to worry. But if you know him please let him know that I can't call the number he gave me and ask him to check his email and/or HAMB personal messages for my phone number.

Thanks thequietwon. I figured it was something like that and I'm not in a big hurry. I'll sit tight and just wait to hear from him.
I wouldn't have worried at all, SAM123, except the last email was cryptic. The entire email was "give me a call XXX-XXX-XXXX" and then the phone number was not a working number. I'm guessing it was a typo.

If anyone sees him just let him know I tried to call for a whole week.

 

delton is a stand up dude. don't worry. as mentioned last week was autofair for us Carolina boys and we were all probably totally consumed with that. I just checked my phone and don't have his number though I know I used to, musta got lost in a phone switch or something.

But yeah give 'em another day or three to get caught back up from autofair. I was actually shocked I didn't run into him there Saturday as I tend to most times I go....ken...

 

Thanks for the love guys, I have been extremely busy and by no means was trying to short anyone. I hadn't sent the bumper because I was going to see if atomickustom wanted the whole thing rechromed instead of one part of it. And yes the wrong # was a typo. I'll call soon.

 

Never mind looks like it is already solved.

 

I've dealt with Del before. He's a stand-up fella. I would do business with him again in a heartbeat.

 

I just didn't want you to think I was blowing you off! (Been hard to keep up lately between work and my son getting sick twice and I know I let my email slide for several days in the middle there.)

Just the one end is all I needed redone.
