before I go and get real upset about this,does anybody here know Brett (username leviscl***ics) has anything happened to him? if not,maybe somebody could tell me why he wont return my emails,as I have paid for a 59 impala dash from him,given him a USA delivery address,paid for delivery to that address etc. Its been a few weeks since I paid,and over 2 weeks since I had any contact.I am quite sure I have missed the container it was supposed to go in now as well. can somebody shed some light on this?
He just delivered a car to me I bought of him from MI to NY, i bought it last saturday, and i met him in NY at 2pm today. drove the car home over 100 miles no problems. im going to post pics in a seperate thread in about 5 minutes.. seems like a stand up guy to me so far.
I had a long drawn out purchase from him also with lots of promises/sorry's/its in the mail's etc... months later & an e mail to Ryan he finally did make it right but by that time it was too late to feel good about the transaction.
He's a good guy! I've bought a few parts from him, met him a couple times. He seems to have alot of contacts and alot of deals in the works. I'm sure your parts are coming. He's on the road alot picking up and delivering parts so that keeps him running.

This is Rocky from the cl***ified's ads forum.... did he sell you the parts on the HAMB? If so, I can have a little talk with him to help get him going. If not, you'll have to keep trying. Sometimes he gets a string of sales and can't get everything shipped as quickly as he'd llike to but he always makes good on his sales as far as I know... Seymor....same goes for you. If you bought something from Levis through the HAMB cl***ifieds ads and he didn't deliver [for a YEAR???] you need to let me know. We have several mechanisms in place to "nudge" sellers into getting their promised parts/cars delivered on time. I bought some taillight lenses from him a while back. As I recall, it did take a couple weeks before I got them, but I was in no hurry. In the age of mailorder, I start getting impatient if something isn't in my hand by the end of the week, but he's been on the hamb for a long time, and the bigwigs here seem to speak highly of him, so that was good enough for me. I DID get my parts with no problem, in a fairly reasonable about of time. Good luck
I placed an add in the cl***ifieds 'wtb 59/60 impala dash',he responded quickly,sent pics within a day or so,i told him how i wanted it to go to a shipping agent in CA...no problems,gave me a price and I sent him a Paypal within a day or 2.He said he would be a week or so as he was going to the HAMB drags,I said that was fine.Last time I heard he said he was going to send it..that was 2nd sept. I now have to find another shipping agent,which will cost me more as the container it was to go in was a good friends and it was a free ride. I'll send a PM Rocky.
I just got some parts from him today it took a few weeks. Big deal, give the guy a break. Sometimes we all get busy...
i bought some 8BA rods through the HAMB from him. after i asked if he forgot to ship them, he said yes , but sent them out. That was 4th Aug. ...... It dosen't take that much time usually. I'm still waiting.We will see........ Maybe Rocky can "ask" him. Thanks Michael
Just to clarify... My opinion. Brett is a good guy. He's always posting and sharing a bunch of good info and parts etc. From what I understand, he's a stand up guy. I have yet to receive my stuff, but I really do not need it at this second. Too busy to work on my own car anyway.
Maybe its out of his hands and has to do with the post office or something,,,you are in Australia....Katrina has put a damper on alot of things in one way or another.....I understand how you feel and please dont think i'm jumping on you...Just adding my 2 cents...
