Heaven forbid someone would build a car that's not "traditional". To each his own.

Apparently you haven't seen the lowrider thread. If you don't like it,don't come back to the thread. Kind of simple, isn't it.

  10. Ditto...

    Hope you find the car.

1st thing i thought too. I remember seeing a picture of a custom lowrider of the 70s sittin in a junkyard and it looks just like this one.
    Hope were wrong!
I think the front end is very representative of that period and if it didnt have the murals it would have been a 100 times better!
    Hope for the best!

PS - Hey Conrad, im still workin on the photo archive but i didnt forget about your merc, just didnt have any time to upload all that material.
Links in my signature if you wanna take a peek but not much to see yet.....it will eventually be very big if i manage to upload all the stuff i collected over the years! Sorry for the hijack:D

I have to agree with The dude in that it most likely either got a full redo when it got too old for the show circuit or it may have suffered being banged around on the street after it's time as a show rig.

It's a fact of life. Show cars get changed if the owners want to win at shows and quite often old show cars end up being someone's cruiser until it ends up with a worse fate.
