Got a friend who may be buying one of the bodies he has for sale, and I may be going to pick i up for him. Just wondered if anyone knew of the guy or had had any dealings with him..it would be a long drive from here to get shafted! wil-e-cyote

Plainview is about 45 miles from here. I came across those bodies one day a couple of months ago and called about them. We spoke on the phone but I haven't met him. Looked at those through the fence. The two door seemed pretty nice from the outside. He told me the coupe was rusty. He was asking 1200 for the sedan, 1000 for the coupe. He also had the back section of a 28/29 roadster and also in one photo you can see a 26/27 T coupe on a homemade frame. I wanted it but don't now. He wanted 600 for the body or 800 for as is. I could only see it way across the lot so I don't have a clue how solid it was. Hope that helps. Good luck. Dan
