pretty sure I have a sister to it in my dads garage? These carts were built for the religious group The House of Davids, supposedly driven from town to town so the men in robes could play baseball as a publicity stunt of sorts in the thirties. Had a 1 1/2 HP Briggs engine in the front. Ours had no fenders but with what little you have of a photo it sure looks like the same car. Bought ours probably 35 years ago @ Hershey.

The Dias brothers in Santa Clara, Ca. had one in '49, the older brother was 16, and drove it quite a lot. I was 7, and longed for something like that...but an elder neighbor gent told me, "You want something like that? You gotta build it."
Same thing he told me with the big "gas motor planes". So I did it. (the planes)
Didn't get around to the car 'til I found the roadster for $3! (6 years later)

Glad to see this! I always thought the Diases built theirs, now I know better. Thanks, Chris!

Don't think the OP picture is the same as the House of David car. Look at the shape of the cowl to what would be door area (if it had doors). The OP looks to have a "trunk" that is part of the body, where the third kid is sitting. Much bigger Bead around cowl and a bit different shape, wheels look bigger etc.

I don't know about the car but the horn is a foot operated one, an accessory common on early cars without electrical systems.

Horn is a Klaxon, mounted on the outside edge of the door on a 1914 and older Model T as well!
