  5. My dad use to say that "Having relatives stay for the holidays was like serving fish for dinner. Smells great, tastes good when you first serve it. But as time goes on it just smells up the house"

I'm having Norwell draw me up a club logo and I'm gonna get some plaques made....at least that's what I told the wife I'm getting hahahaha I saw a mooneyes box at the front door yesterday....so maybe some wiper bullets, door lock bullets, and valve stem bullets too...she wanted stocking stuffer ideas.

  10. My wife and I get nothing. We are happy enough to wake up and have each other. We don't need Christmas to buy each other gifts as we give each other gifts through out the year.

We went down to the dealship yesterday and she ordered her present to herself ( she is even paying for it).

It's OT here so I won't post a picture but she is getting the first one in our town.

2011 Rally Yellow SS Camaro Convertible !!!

She is stoked and to tell the truth I can't wait to get my hands on it. We didn't order the striping as we are gonna paint some on it.

She says the first thing that must be done is off to the exhaust shop to remove everything from the Cat's back so it sounds like a real Camaro.

She is a jewel for sure.

I bought a new toolbox. A mac triple bay that measures 67 inches wide, 25 inches deep, and 41 inches tall. Chevy orange with black handles. She doesn't know yet.

  15. I am so lucky My wife got me a 32 car gennie shell and grille.( This thing is cherry ) we knew an old guy that had it on his hot rod in the 50`s. while alive he would not think of selling so i never asked. He passed away 3-1/2 years ago. I forgot about it until we were watching American pickers. They had a new intro with one of the dudes holding up a Deuce grille and I said to my wife I really what one of those and told her about the one ( old BOB ) had and that I might try getting a hold of the family to see if it was available.Well little did I know.My wife spent quite some time trying to procure it and it was looking like a no go,but she stayed on it. in the end they were happy it was going to me and my hot rod that old BOB would come and watch me work on. She wanted to wait till Christmas to give it to me as a surprise. well my dad passed on the 20th ( I sure miss him a lot already) and needles to say bummed. Our wedding anniversary was on The 22nd (she gave it me then.to cheer me up) I am so stoked! when they gave it to me it brought tears. that`s my story. (I will post some pic`s later) my wife is the best thing that ever happened to me.Merry Christmas, Pete.

Here's what I got ... or should I say, the car got? Amazing how far $1,000 dollars goes in today's economy, NOT!

    Merry Christmas fellow HAMBER's!

You found out RED is the most expensive color, If you wanna' play, you gotta' pay... it's usually worth it though. Good luck and "Merry Christmas".

  30. "Santa" just gave me the nod to order a Ron Francis wiring harness for Big Blue... but without that, it'd be smoked sausage and underwear... again.
