I need to get some rubber to make some splash shields for my 46 Ford on a 66 Chevelle chassis. Scott Drake manufactures the stuff for a Mustang, but won't sell me any of it before they cut it up. Garinger has something that will work, but won't sell it to me either( I'm not set up as a business with them). It needs to be rubber, about 1/16th of an inch thick, and between 4 and 8 inches wide. Anybody got any ideas?????

Check with your local roofer for scrap of rubber roofing material. I have a friend that gives me this stuff and have used it for all kinds of things.

Thanks guys. These are great places to check. I should have thought of both of these. Sometimes it helps to have somebody else point you in the direction that was staring at you to start with. Why is that ?????

Or see if an outfit like Rubber The Right Way has some cut for something bigger than what you need (Cad, Truck, etc) and then trim them down?
