Wish I did. Tried to catch up with him as well this past weekend. That car is simply BAD!!

 

If that is the car that I am thinking of, it's a guy named Wayne, who has a rod shop in Gas City, IN.

Yup.

I talked to him at GG Charlotte last year. Turns out I had bought a 34 roadster from a friend of his several years ago.

I have no idea what his last name is.

His buddies name is Dude, and was a NSRA safety inspector.

His name is Wayne Hawk of Wayne's Vintage Tin out of Jonesboro, In. 765-984-4870 By the way he drove the A last year to the L.A. roadster show with a bunch of us. Great guy, had a blast.

Actually Wayne's number is 765-948-4870. True barn find stocker and put a new chassis and drive train under it.
