anybody like DOODLEBUGS? slightly O/T?

    Bringing the thread back up as I think this one might fit here but mods, if it's too O/T feel free to zap it.
    Showed up at the Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion over Labor Day weekend in Rollag, Minnesota. It was in a parade and I wasn't quick enough to track it down afterward so no info on it. (It was a big place... LOL!) Very clean and nicely done I thought, looks like and early Chevy (truck?) hood and cowl. I guess if you were a farmer back when, with mechanical skills, and needed a small tractor what's to stop you from building your own?
    Yep, these are big 'n' littles, to the extreme! ;)

    back 40 years or so ago there were a bunch of them sitting around along fence rows over around the orchards in the valley. I don't know if someone bought them up and saved them or if they got scrappd or if the Model A guys picked them up. I know that at least a couple of the local Model A guys have at least one each along with speedsters made out of left over parts.
