Just saw this one on FB market place. Even though the body is cool as hell and the car has some SCCA history I think the $35k price is a little steep. Anyway its a neat car. https://www.facebook.com/commerce/listing/165378468733551/?media_id=1&ref=share_attachment
Funny the link is in the post and works fine from my IMAC? It is a Citroen based drivetrain in a tube chassis. Car has a handmade aluminum body. Was supposedly raced in the SCCA in 1957 and 1958. Only missing the dual carbs it had originally. All else is as it was raced.
It wants a Facebook login... like the guys above mentioned, don't have a FB account. Gordon thanks for the details on it!
cool lookin rig. again, it amazes me that a once valuable thing can be just left to rot. this is not just a model T pushed out in the cow yard after it was out of date, it was an expensive thing when new, and always a special thing until...who knows what. and, face book is the enemy of the modern world. i dont go there
I'm a car slut I go where there may be possible candidates for sale. FB, Craiglist, local want ads. Hot rods, muscle cars, classics... doesn't matter I will look at em all.
Awww, for crying out loud. Which I'm doing right now. & drooling... Another "Geez, I really like that one, good lines n proportins. & can't afford it, + way too many "projects" right now anyways". Say... Anyone want some a-little-more-conventional-projects ? As usual, all are orphan-types... . Oh well... ;( . Marcus...
It was a race car. When it stopped being competitive it became too expensive to make competitive, thus rendering it not very special. Probably only reason it survived at all was because somebody forgot about it. At 35k it better have documentation that James Dean's ass had been belted in the seat holding a first place trophy.
