In the 60's, you could purchase door handles and window roll up handles to replace your originals. (They were prolly cal custom or Mr gasket) You could usually find them hanging on the wall of your local speed shop.
They had 3 holes in the arm of each and kinda matched the look of your three holed spoked steering wheel.
Anyone know if they are still made?. I'm buiolding a 60's rod and am looking to have all those kinds of gaudy accessories on it.
    Thanks in advance....

I have not seen them since the mid 70's. Not at the swap meets around here either. Best bet may be a old speed shop's forgotten parts in the back.

A friend of mine had some on his '47 Dodge coupe when he got it. Remember, there are two different kinds, the splined kind, and the square peg kind. If you find some, be sure you're getting the ones that'll fit on your car, or be ready for a little modifying. I always thought they were cool, those are the only ones I've ever seen.

If you end up finding a set, I've got the matching exterior mirror. How many of those have you ever seen? (looks ****ty in the pic but it's actually pretty decent)

The looked like those, only they were chromed. Those would do in a pinch if I didnt pinch too hard, though. They look kinda billetty- The chrome ones were pot metal.
Where can I get those if all else fails?

These are aluminum castings that were powder coated, I bought them from a vendor that was selling them at Columbus about 5 years ago... they were also selling them polished but had sold out ..somewhere around $20.00 for a full set.
Sorry, I don't recall the vendors name but he had a lot of 50's-60's stuff he was re-popping..

Perfect. Strip the black **** off of them and buff them out. I dig the look. Maybe you could scrounge up some kind of different spinner knob for the ends of them. Very 60's looking that way.

Theres an autoparts store near me that still has the Cal-Custom handles you describe on the sheves. They're chrome & have a wood knob. Want me to check on them??
