I think pkhammer has it right. The one pictured in lower center is very similar in construction. 070913JR_MuseumOfClean5.jpeg Picture is from Museum of Clean in Pocatello, Idaho.

  4. Dang, who knew!.They even have a museum for clean!:D

HAMBers are 72% more likely to buy shit they don't understand than the average civilian.

    Think I read that somewhere.....

Just bragging rights. I believe you’re correct. Awfully large for washing clothes though.

Could work for a crop circle maker.

  13. I have not seen one of those for 60 years. My grandmother had one in an oval bucket to wash blankets and heavy duty stuff. She had a Maytag gas washer for the light clothes.

This reminds me, I need to post a pic on a what is it thread. It has 3 trailer hitch balls spaced out(3 feet between them) on a bumper. The only thing I can think of, it`s for a one wheeled trailer using the outer two mounts.

  20. I've never heard of anyone having three balls.

10139011_1_l.jpg The wash boiler was designed this way to fit over two burners of a wood stove back in the day. There was a lid that fit it while boiling. That two funnel plunger would fit nicely in one of these. Bob

I was going to say a stand for working on motorcycles, but I obviously have no idea of what I'd be talking about.
