I'm with chopolds-SATA. Tuck is right. The IWATA is a super performer, too. One or two of each should take care of your needs. overspray

  7. The Finishline is a good gun for the money.I`ve have 2 of them.
The problem is they are air hogs.Home compressors are border
    line.
I now use the FL with the larger tip as a primer gun.

My gun for paint and clear is a Sharp Plantinum(about $350)
they are rated to need the least air for proper atomization.Paint lays down beautiful.

Also got a mini Sata for small or tight places.

The Harbor Frieght is a great primer gun too,it`s a clone of
the early German made Sata. HF is an air hog too.

    Good Luck...JR

Hey for the money you'll be happy. I used one for a 21 coat heavy metal flake project.. came out bitchen.. then the next day I shoot DP90 Epoxy and even some PCL through it, both of which are thick primers! Unless your into billion dollar paint jobs that gun would be fine...Even comes with a couple of different tips and you can order more if needed. Good Luck!

thats what i have now donnie is the jga and thats the only devilbiss gun i have used. I have sprayed with a sata jet which was awesome, and sprayed a few sharpe guns and didnt think they were all that great.
I think im going to save my money and get a sata. Anyone ones you guys prefer the most? I was reading up on a new one the sata reduced pressure gun??? i dont think its hvlp but it says it atomizes better. You guys heard anything about it? thanks for all the help! nate

i think you can find a better gun for your money. first think about used high line guns such as sata or iwata. ebay is a good place to get a good deal sometimes. i missed out on a nice iwata a few weeks ago because i had a coupla long days work and just forgot about the auction. it sold for $120. about a fourth of the new price and had 3 tips a rebuild kit a cleaning kit and carrying case. the school i went to used nothing but binks therefor they have a natural feel to me even though i know there are better guns. i'm just now trying the sharpe line. got a good deal on a nice siphon feed model on ebay a week ago. keep an eye on ebay. there a buch lot of guns up now mostly iwatas that need some attention. the bidding is cheap right now there's 4 or 5 guns in all. if i get them i would consider passing one on to you at a fair price depending on what the bidding goes to. anyhow nothing wrong with checking out used stuff once in a while. also check pawn shops in your area. i've gotten some good deals in the past. they will usually have 'em priced to high for used but make 'em an offer 9 times outta 10 if it's a fair offer they take it. i really am wanting an iwata right now but don't have the cash for a new one so i'm keeping tabs on used ones. if i really like 'em when i find a used one then i may be a little more willing to pay the cash for a new one...ken....
