I got a chance to score a big fat Muncie 4 speed tranny to go behind my early [51-53 extended block] 331 Chrysler Hemi. Right now I already have all the stuff to bolt my '39 LaSalle side-shift tranny behind it but would really rather go with the 4 gear. In searching the webb, I see Wilcap has a $295 adapter to bolt the chevy pattern muncie behind my Hemi but it doesn't say whether it it uses a modern starter or flywheel or what. Anybody ever use one of these? Didja like it? Discuss amongst yourselves....

yeah, and you need to factor in pilot bushings bearings bla bla bla and all that other stuff you need to bolt it up in price comparisons.

i knwo some come with everything you need to bolt them together and some dont,

so you might want to check that out before buying one cus its cheeper.

----- i know you know all this all knowing rocky;) but some one else might not have thought of that----
